Customers rent or lease postage meters from one of three companies who manufacture meters that are authorized by Canada Post for use in Canada: Francotyp-Postalia Canada Inc., Neopost Canada Ltd. and Pitney Bowes Canada. If you occasionally distribute mailings, you will find metering more convenient than stamps. If you do not have a meter, just bring your mail to the counter and Canada Post will meter it for you.
