For Communications Services
With the Electronic Shipping Tools (EST), you can print the Unaddressed Admail Delivery Slips (ADS), Statements of Mailing (SOM) and the Distribution Plan on regular 8½ X 11 inch sheet of regular bond paper. The adhesive labels for tie-on-bags are available from our Website under "Order Products and Supplies" in the On-line Business Centre. The Canada Post stock number for ordering these adhesive labels is: #33-086-691

For Shipping & Delivery Services

With Electronic Shipping Tools (EST), you can also select bar-coded label options to ship your parcels. Each of these labelling options satisfies different shipping processes. The label option you select will dictate the type of printer you will require. You can order shipping labels from our Website under "Order Products and Supplies" in the On-line Business Centre.

• Delivery Confirmation with plain paper address label - Labelope Supplied
• Thermal label

The plain paper address labels provide the most flexibility, do not require any specialized impact printers, and are the easiest to load and configure

• Primarily customers who have imported an address database into Electronic Shipping Tools (EST), and who also use a different service for each shipment use this label option.
• The label is printed on standard letter-size paper. The shipper then folds the label in half and puts it into a self-adhesive pouch (#33-086-593), which is applied to the parcel.
• These labels are 14cm x 21 cm and fit in a self-adhesive pouch.
• This label option can be printed on any supported laser printer.
• A typical configuration required to support this label option would include:
  • Computer (Monitor, CPU, Scale, Mouse, Keyboard, Modem, and bar-code scanner)
  • Printer (Laser) - connected to either a printer port or network drive, would print all Manifests, Reports, and labels on standard letter-size paper.
• The Canada Post stock number for ordering the self-adhesive pouch is: 33-086-593 (Pouch for software users)

Thermal label

• For customers who ship significant daily volumes, continuously switch services, or ship using large group shipping lists, a thermal label printer is an attractive option.
• Electronic Shipping Tools (EST) currently works with Eltron 2642, Eltron 2742, Zebra TLP 2742,TLP 2746 and Zebra TLP 2844. For more information on supported thermal printers, please contact the Canada Post Technical Helpdesk at 866-511-0546.
