Need to find a Post Office near you? Our Find a Post Office search tool allows you to search for a Post Office by providing the following information:
The easiest way to look for a Post Office near you is to search by postal code. Simply enter the postal code in the area provided on the search page, and click Search. The results screen will display a list of Post Offices near the postal code you entered. To clear your search criteria, click the Clear icon.
If you do not know the postal code, you can either use the Search by Address feature, or look up your postal code by using the Postal Code Look-up application.
To search by address, instead of entering the postal code, fill in the address fields on the screen. Street Number, Street Name, Street Type, Municipality, and Province. With the exception of Street type, all of these fields are mandatory.
Note that you can search either by Postal Code or Civic Address, but not both.
The Post Office Locator uses the Postal Code to locate the nearest outlets. When you enter an address, the POL searches the Postal Code Look-up application to find which postal code to use. Sometimes there is more than one possible result for the address that you entered. For example, Main Street East vs. Main Street West. In addition, some large customers may have a unique postal code for their mailroom. It is not uncommon for one building to have four or five postal codes.
When there is more than one result for the address you entered, you will be presented with a screen asking which address you wish to use for your search. Simply choose the search icon next to the appropriate address.
Map
Maps are accessed by clicking on a Map icon on the Results Page. The map will display the location of the Post Office you selected.
Use the panning frame surrounding the map to move your map in any of eight different directions. Clicking on the top (N), bottom (S), right (E) or left (W) side of the frame will pan your map in that direction. Clicking on the corners (NW, NE, SW, SE) will pan your map Northeast, Northwest, Southeast or Southwest.
Use the zoom bar, located to the right of the map, to change your map level. MapQuest offers ten different predefined zoom levels from continent level to street level. You can change your map one level at a time by clicking on the separate larger buttons at the bottom right hand of the screen, or you can go directly to any zoom level by clicking the appropriate button on the zoom bar. The highlighted button on the zoom bar indicates the zoom level of your current map.
