It is important for Canada Post to continually and consistently build upon our relationships with both existing and new suppliers. At the same time, Canada Post must make preferences for Socially Responsible goods and services in a market sensitive and cost effective manner, while conducting business in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Canada Post is in the process of establishing Corporate Social Responsibility Guidelines to be integrated into our Procurement Process.
For purchases not subject to NAFTA, suppliers may be identified from past experience with Canada Post, industry directories, catalogues and journals, trade shows and conferences. From time to time we supplement our sourcing with notices published electronically.
