To manage volatility in fuel prices, starting on September 1, 2008, a differentiated fuel surcharge will apply to Parcel shipments, based on the service selected: either Express* or Non-Express**. A higher fuel surcharge rate will apply to Express services, such as Priority Courier, Priority™ Worldwide and Xpresspost (Domestic, USA and International) compared to our Non-Express services, such as Regular Parcel and Expedited Parcel (Domestic and USA).
The Express services fuel surcharge rate will apply to Priority™ Worldwide shipments until January 2009 at which time the applicable FedEx Express fuel surcharge rate will apply.
Effective November 3, 2008 through November 30, 2008 the following fuel surcharges will apply:
