Every day, thousands of Canadian companies and organizations rely on Canada Post to help them communicate, send and receive payments, advertise and ship their products.
That’s why Canada Post has launched this major revitalization that will provide improved reach and access to our customers across both physical and electronic channels, more targeted communications and opportunities to build customer relationships.

Over the next several years, the company will move on capital projects, including new and renovated buildings and updated equipment and systems, along with substantial investments in information technology. Postal Transformation involves new ways of doing business and new technologies that will help us make changes in how we will serve you, our customers.
At the same time, Canada Post will also redesign the experience of your customers—the consumers:
Customer panels
We may be experts in the delivery and communications field, but you’re the expert in running your business. That’s why we’ve created customer panels to help us think through any proposed changes from a customer’s perspective.
There have already been three panels in 2008 and we haven’t finished yet. The last two sessions, held in Toronto (March) and in Vancouver (May), focused on proposed container and shipping equipment changes. The feedback from these sessions are being considered in the final design of our containers and shipping equipment.
A typical agenda for the panels includes:
Board of Advisors
In addition to the customer panels, we’ve invited a cross section of executives from various industries to participate on our Board of Advisors. These “thought partners” share their experience with us to ensure the customer perspective is being considered.
A new, state-of-the-art mail processing plant has been announced at the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport in Winnipeg.
Our goal is to keep you informed of improvements and any proposed changes, every step of the way.
